Media Informasi Lingkungan Berbasis Plang Edukasi Waktu Urai Sampah dalam Pengelolaan Sampah

Abstract

The issue of waste has become a serious environmental problem due to the increasing population and consumption patterns of urban communities, which tend to be consumptive. The Thematic Real Work Lecture Program (KKN-T) in RT 04/RW 01 Anggut Bawah was implemented to raise public awareness about waste management through the creation of educational signs about waste decomposition times. This activity used the Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) approach with five stages, namely Discovery, Dream, Design, Define, and Destiny. The results of the activity showed that visual media in the form of educational signs were able to attract attention, strengthen memory, and foster an attitude of caring for the environment. The program also increased community participation in waste management and fostered an understanding of the economic value of waste in accordance with the principles of the circular economy. Thus, this activity contributed to behavioral change towards more sustainable waste management.
