Abstract

This community service activity was carried out in Pematang Gubernur Village, specifically in RT 22 Jalan Medan Baru. The main problem faced by the community is the lack of a Waste Bank as an alternative waste management solution. The solution offered is the creation of a Waste Bank as a waste management facility for materials such as plastic, cardboard, and paper. The community service method was carried out through the stages of situation analysis, program planning, activity implementation, and evaluation. The results of the waste bank creation activity showed an increase in environmental awareness. This work program has a positive impact on public awareness regarding the importance of empowering communities to create a cleaner and healthier environment. The program's implementation results demonstrate increased public understanding and awareness of the importance of sorting and managing household waste.Furthermore, the waste bank encourages active community participation in maintaining environmental cleanliness and opens up opportunities for utilizing inorganic waste with economic value. This program has had a positive impact on empowering the community and contributing to a cleaner, healthier, and more sustainable environment in RT 22, Pematang Gubernur Village.
