Abstract

The development of digital technology has brought significant changes in business strategies, particularly through the use of social media as a marketing, communication, and brand strengthening tool. In the context of Sharia-based businesses, social media optimization not only focuses on increasing profits but also emphasizes ethical values, justice, and blessings in accordance with Sharia principles. This study aims to examine the role of social media in the development of Sharia-based digital businesses, emphasizing communication strategies, Sharia-compliant content, and trust-based consumer engagement. The methods used are literature study and descriptive analysis of Sharia business practices in the digital era. The results of the study indicate that social media has great potential to expand markets, increase customer loyalty, and create a sustainable business ecosystem, if managed according to Sharia principles such as honesty, transparency, and responsibility. Thus, social media optimization can be an important instrument in strengthening the competitiveness of Sharia-based digital businesses while encouraging the growth of the halal economy.
