The problem of inorganic waste that is difficult to decompose remains an environmental issue in densely populated residential areas, including Pematang Gubernur Village, Bengkulu City. Low public awareness in sorting and disposing of waste properly has contributed to environmental pollution, clogged drainage systems, and a decline in environmental health and comfort. This community service activity aimed to improve public awareness and behavior in waste management through the provision of segregated waste bins as a form of environmental education. The methods used included field observation to identify environmental conditions and community needs, the design and construction of segregated waste bins, and the placement of the bins in strategic and easily accessible locations. The waste bins were designed in a simple and functional manner to encourage waste separation in daily activities. The results showed positive responses from the community, as residents began to use the segregated waste bins according to their functions and demonstrated increased understanding of the importance of waste sorting at the source. The provision of segregated waste bins proved to be a practical and sustainable educational approach in encouraging gradual behavioral change toward better and environmentally responsible waste management.
