Abstract

 The growth of household waste volume, especially organic waste, has become an environmental problem that affects health and the quality of residential ecosystems. In Anggut Bawah Subdistrict, Bengkulu City, organic waste management has not been carried out optimally, contributing to environmental pollution and low soil fertility. This activity aims to evaluate the utilization of household waste, especially organic waste such as banana peels, as raw material for making liquid organic fertilizer through a simple fermentation method. The approach used is participatory and educational, through stages of socialization and technical training for the community. The fertilizer-making method is carried out using natural bioactivators and equipment that is easily available in the household environment.
